Chris O’Brien

Chris O’Brien, President and CEO

Chris O’Brien is the founder of Captorra and co-founder of Intake Conversion Experts. Under his leadership, Captorra created the case intake software market and cemented it as the market leader. In 2016, Chris co-founded Intake Conversion Experts (ICE) which focuses on providing outsourced intake and case retention services for law firms.

Chris drew on his prior experience of more than a decade at Client Profiles, providers of technology for the practice and business of law including case and financial management software, and Aderant, to lead the team in the creation of Captorra Case.

When not at work Chris enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter. He is an avid Chicago sports fan. Go Cubs Go!

Matt Kelly

Matt Kelley, Vice President of Design

Matt Kelley has deep industry experience creating legal management systems and software and advising firms on their implementation. He joined Captorra at its inception and was the principal developer of Captorra Intake and Captorra Case. Matt also is a partner at Intake Conversion Experts (ICE), where he developed and implemented their custom CRM and integration technology.

Previously Matt worked in consulting and development roles with Aderant’s CRM4Legal and Client Profiles, as well as in-house at Weber Gallagher Simpson Stapleton Fires & Newby.

Matt and his wife are avid concert goers and enjoy trips to the beach and hiking through national parks. He also enjoys producing music and playing soccer.

Denny Newberry

Denny Newberry, Vice President of Business Development

Denny Newberry has held business development leadership positions in the legal industry for more than 10 years. He started out in the case management space with Client Profiles as he helped build one of the largest legal case management companies in the legal marketplace. After Client Profiles, Denny went on to become a Regional Sales Director at Copitrak (Nuance).

With Captorra since its inception, Denny has led the business development team and very quickly grown Captorra to be the leading case intake and lead conversion software for plaintiff firms in the marketplace. As a natural extension of Captorra, Denny partnered with Chris O’Brien to start the outsourced call center Intake Conversion Expert (ICE).

Denny enjoys time with his wife and two kids and riding his mountain bike.

Chris Benefield

Chris Benefield, Director of Project Services

Chris Benefield has 20 years of experience in operations and project management in SAAS companies, designing, implementing, upgrading, and managing mission-critical application solutions in support of thousands of companies and law firms. Chris has been with Captorra since 2014.

Prior to his current role, Chris was Operations Manager and Executive Director at NJUNS, Inc.

Jon Roebuck

Jon Roebuck, Client Support Manager

Jon Roebuck ensures that clients come first at Captorra. He is responsible for managing the support team for internal and external customer inquiries, ensuring that clients’ set-up, onboarding and integrations run smoothly. He has built and administered CRM programs as well as process and workflows for call center environments. Jon brings to his role experience gained during seven years with a leading consumer products company.

When he’s not focused on Captorra’s clients, Jon enjoys playing bass guitar, tinkering with anything he can get his hands on and hiking.
